Beginners welcome! A watercolor series of 3 classes. Learn the basics of painting with watercolors. Everything provided for the first session, then student will bring their own supplies. Session will be, January 23rd, 30th and February 6th, 12:30-2:30.

About the event
Class 1: intro to watercolor supplies, demo by instructor, and student practice. Sumi-é introduction with Chinese brushes and watercolors on different surfaces, including Canson paper. All materials provided the first class.
Class 2-4: Inspired by a vase of fresh flowers, paint vivid florals alla prima using complementary colors on Canson paper. Learn about how colors work. Paint a still life with fruit and plants. Paint small landscapes to hang at home or gift as postcard. Photo references provided. On Canson or Fabriano watercolor paper.
